Hey there –
When you’re first starting out, the valuation of your portfolio companies has likely already been established by “lead angels.”
So, you probably don’t need to worry too much about valuation right now, but it’s still important information to have as you advance in your angel investing journey!
As always, I recommend riding the coattails of successful angel investors.
Also – startups raising through crowdfunding portals will likely list their valuation right on the page.
