In addition to having maximum funding amounts, each raise has a minimum goal that varies from company to company. If the raise does not hit that minimum goal, investments are canceled and returned to investors.

Is there any advantage to investing today rather than waiting until a couple of days before the closing date of funding?
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out! Investing earlier ensures that you get a spot at the cap table sooner. These raises can sometimes fill up way faster than they originally expected. If you wait too long, the round may have closed before you get a chance to invest!
Cheers,
